We
Believe . . .
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and that it has been handed down to our generation without error.
We believe that the Bible is the only true testimony that God has given us about Himself, and that it serves as the only source upon which we can base our beliefs and practices.
We believe in , and worship, the Triune God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as the only true God who has created and redeemed the human race.
We believe that God’s Grace (forgiveness) comes to us through the gifts of God’s Holy Word and the Holy Blessed Sacraments – Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which were instituted by Jesus Christ Himself.
We believe that it is only through the suffering and death of our dear Lord Jesus Christ that we are restored to the Father in heaven, and have eternal salvation. We cannot in any way work our way to heaven.
We believe that our salvation comes to us through the simple faith given to us by the Holy Spirit which causes us to embrace and hold fast to Jesus as the Christ – our Lord and Savior.
We believe that the historic liturgy of the church teaches and guides us into a correct understanding of the realities of sin and grace, and, is used by the Holy Spirit to give us comfort and hope in our relationship with the Lord.
